CRAFTED was born from a simple idea...
The Southeast deserves a show that celebrates cycling culture in its own backyard.
Across the region, builders and makers are creating and designing deeply personal work—frames, components, bags, and more – each piece a reflection of craft and conviction. Yet too often small independents are overshadowed by larger brands. CRAFTED puts them at the center.
This isn’t a trade show built around transactions. It’s a gathering built around people. A place where the story behind the bike matters as much as the bike itself—where you can meet the hands behind the work and experience the beauty of things made with intention.
Rooted in the Southeast, CRAFTED reflects the spirit of the region: welcoming, creative, independent, and quietly world-class. Every detail is considered. Every connection is real.
This is year one—and the beginning of something bigger. Our hope is simple: to build an annual home for cycling culture in the Southeast.

Asheville On Bikes is running a bike park for kids all day long, open the entire length of the show. Drop in any time. Kids bring their own bikes and helmets. AoB staff supervise throughout.

Eat well. Iron Sharpens Iron, Silly Willies, and Dirty Gerties are all in the front lot, plus Burial beer and other beverages for sale.
Leave with something more permanent than a sticker. Bad Idea Tattoos is set up in the exhibitor area all day.
Stop by the Catalyst Sports booth any time to learn about the fundraiser behind the build. Money raised goes toward adaptive bikes for the Catalyst fleet, and toward putting the bike built at Crafted into the hands of a deserving member of the adaptive community. The winner is announced at 1:30 p.m., during the NCCX awards.

To kick off the Crafted weekend, Jack of Flowers Bikes is hosting a social group ride on Friday for anyone in town early for the show. The ride starts and finishes at Wedge Foundation and heads out for roughly an hour to an hour and a half of mixed-terrain riding through the little neighborhoods around Asheville. Expect a relaxed, social pace with plenty of chances to chat and enjoy the ride. The idea is simply to get some of the builders, vendors, friends and family in town together before the weekend begins. With so many creative people gathering in Asheville for Crafted, it felt like a fun opportunity to get everyone out on bikes, meet one another, and kick off the weekend in a more relaxed setting. No RSVP — just show up.

Blue Ridge Dirt Skrrts has built a thriving community for women on bikes across Western North Carolina — introducing more than 175 women to mountain biking, hosting more than 1,180 riders over five years, and breaking down the barriers that keep many people from enjoying the trails.
In this inspiring talk, we’ll explore how welcoming, supportive cycling communities take root; how nonprofits and local businesses can work together to create a stronger, more inclusive riding culture; and how anyone can help make the trails more welcoming to all. Whether you’re new to mountain biking or looking to grow a community of your own, you’ll leave with practical ideas for creating connection, confidence, and belonging wherever you ride.

Tackling the logistics of planning a bikepacking trip can feel daunting enough — so what do you do when your plans go off track? From ways to prepare in advance to drawing a new map for a great trip on the fly, we’ll talk through how to make pivoting mid-trip a smooth process, with a focus on finding joy along the way.

She graduated from UNC Asheville with a BFA in Printmaking, concentrating in woodcut relief, and works from her home studio under the name Slimepup Press, making detailed illustrations and handmade prints inspired by flora, fauna, and the natural world.
Her work runs on fine detail, bold contrast, and playful pattern, across letterpress prints and cards, screen-printed apparel and stickers, and block-printed pillows and art prints. She also takes commissions — pet portraits, logo design, and custom-painted bicycles among them.
Through Slimepup Press, Sam combines traditional printmaking with a love of illustration to make work that celebrates the strange, beautiful, and intricate details found in the world around us. Come by the Helm tent to see the work, talk process, and say hello.

Admission is completely free for all visitors. We believe great cycling culture should be accessible to everyone.
Visit our exhibitor application page and submit your information. We review applications on a rolling basis and notify applicants of acceptance status.
Crafted will be held at Cane Creek Cycling Components headquarters, just outside of Asheville North Carolina. Surrounded by Pisgah National Forest and a hub for all types of riding and cycling culture.
Absolutely. Bring your bike to show off or to discuss with builders and fellow enthusiasts. Secure parking will be available.
